More Info
Now we know a little more. The tumor he has on his bladder is large - very large - and it will be removed next Thursday. The doctor told him he could thank his years of cigarette smoking for it. I've never smoked (and he always smoked outside the house) but when I think of the dangers of smoking, I always think of lung cancer, heart and circulation problems - not this. The tests were extremely uncomfortable but he knew they would be. He said he now knows what it feels like to have a sword run right through you. And how far did the sword go? I don't know but he said he now hears better. :-)

Thank goodness it is something that can be removed!!!
By the way, how is your daughter?
Sandy, somehow I missed the test post and now reading back, I am so sorry. You must think I am an airhead.
Hopefully, the tumor can all be removed, he can have follow up treatment and you both will do fine with it all. At this point, you have to trust your doc, go with the treatment plan and give hubby all of the love and support that you can. Did he just ignore the symptoms?
Sometime later this summer...my deadline is October 1st, we are coming down to Calif. to clean out a storage rental. It would be so wonderful if Steph, you and me and maybe even your daughter if you think that is a good idea, had lunch or dinner, or tea or met in a park or waved to each other on the 91...what so you think? Would it ruin the blog friendship?
