Help!
I have this on our refrigerator and refer to it every time I'm tempted to rescue someone. As a kid I loved watching Lassie but that kid Timmy was always falling in the well or something! Makes for good TV but not real life.
Someday it'll write a post abut the messes I've gotten while trying to rescue somebody else. It is hard to let people you love to be responsible for their own actions. Great cartoon.
That's a great cartoon. I didn't see any of the Lassie movies or TV shows cos I was a child back in the dark ages...didn't even have electricity when I was little... but I get the picture! I've just been catching up on blogs (busy babysitting weekend!) so I'll have to think about my 6 word memoir. Thanks for the tag!
Rescue....I have done it a number of times myself. Steve does it with money, me with excuses these days. We don't have a kid under 30 between the two of us. Called enabling.
I am a wife, mother and grandmother. My job in the finance industry is interesting and challenging. Though I often think about retiring, I’m not ready yet. We’ve spent some years raising our daughter’s two boys but she has now taken responsibility for them and we are once again empty-nesters. One leg of our journey ends and another begins. It is now time for us: to discover what lies ahead and reflect on where we’ve been. Our sweet spot in life.

Some people thrive on rescuing others! I know at least one, and I'm glad he's that way.
(My meme is up)
Mom, I hope you do and I look forward to reading them.
Ms. Shammy, from no electricity to computer whiz? What a lot of changes you've seen! I look forward to your meme.
Rosemary, the cartoon resonated with me because - well, you know.
Kenju, you're a good sport. I'm gong to check your meme!
